Ashley Tisdale has revealed that she and husband Christopher French picked out their baby girl’s name last year before she became pregnant.
The High School Musical star, 35, is preparing to welcome a daughter with her musician spouse, 39, later this year after announcing her pregnancy in September.
And now Ashley has admitted that her baby girl was ‘named before she even came’ as they discussed possible baby names last year.

The Masked Dancer panellist told Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover on Access Hollywood: ‘She was named before she even came. We thought of the name last year, actually.’
Ashley also shared details about her pregnancy cravings, she said: ‘I definitely have cravings for something sweet after dinner.’
The actress and her husband Christopher announced in September that they were expecting their first child with a chic backyard photoshoot. The month is an important milestone for the couple as they tied the knot in September 2014.
In the loved-up snap, the mother-to-be can be seen cradling her blossoming baby bump while Christopher lovingly holds onto her shoulder.

At the time, The Masked Dancer judge wrote on her blog Frenshe: ‘I’m glad I worked on myself before we decided to make this decision.
‘After six years of marriage, we built a strong foundation, and the timing just felt right. I gave it to God and the universe and honestly didn’t feel stressed about it and then it happened very quickly.’
In October, they revealed that they were expecting a girl as they cut into the pink filling of a cake at their gender reveal party on Instagram.
Ashley recently told People: ‘I was obviously excited because I definitely wanted a girl, for sure. But I am also someone who goes with the flow on a lot of stuff.

‘I try to not have expectations in moments like that and just allow what is meant to be. I was very excited. I think my husband definitely was scared — he looked a little scared in the pictures!’
Ashley previously told Us Weekly of when she plans to get back to work: ‘They say the first two weeks are hell week. I’m sure I’ll take a month off, but I’m the type of person that’s a multi-tasker. I love to work.’
She added of her maternity leave plans: ‘I just think I’m very present as a person… I don’t see myself taking too much time off. I have a lot going on. I really love having my hands in everything.’
The singer made her first appearance late last year on her new game show The Masked Dancer, in which she serves alongside Ken Jeong, Paula Abdul and Brian Austin Green on the judges panel.
