Clare Crawley is still trying to process the end of her short-lived engagement with ex fiancé Dale Moss, who proposed after just two weeks of dating on The Bachelorette.
The reality TV stars, who first met last summer and hit it off quickly, both confirmed their breakup this week via social media amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but for Clare it was a shock.

The insider also went on to tell PEOPLE that the pair’s parting has ‘been extremely painful and emotional’ for the 39-year-old hairstylist, who hinted they were thinking about having children just weeks prior.
Crawley has been ‘a wreck’ and is ‘not holding up well’ after falling ‘hard for Dale’ and seeing a future with him, before their new relationship ‘became really messy,’ according to Us Weekly.
On Thursday, Crawley broke her silence about her split from the retired athlete, 32, as she admitted to being ‘crushed.’
But her admission was overshadowed by a new report from E! News that the former football star had cheated on Clare throughout their engagement.

While he has reportedly been in communication with Eleonora ‘since at least late 2019,’ he previously insisted to Crawley that they were only in a ‘business relationship.’
‘Clare has always been skeptical,’ an insider alleged, noting the male model and Eleonora, who works for the company Douglas Elliman, ‘would sneak around New York City, on trips Crawley was not present.’

Among ‘proof’ of his cheating, eyewitness told the outlet he was seen ‘enjoying a late-night candlelit dinner at Cipriani Downtown’ as he flirted and laughed with this woman, not long after their proposal aired on ABC in November.
Her rep, however, told DailyMail.com on Thursday: ‘Dale and Eleonora are, and have been platonic friends for a few years. They have never been romantically involved in any way. She was excited for his engagement and only wishes him all the best. They have never been involved dating, or romantically in any way whatsoever. Any claims they have dated or were romantically involved are blatant lies.’

The news comes after just hours after Crawley spoke about being single again for the first time, since Moss first confirmed their breakup over Instagram on Tuesday.
Just months after prematurely exiting her season of The Bachelorette to accept a proposal from Moss, Crawley claimed she only learned he would be announcing the devastating news after he posted about it.
‘I was made aware of a ‘mutual’ statement at the same time you all were, so I’ve needed some time to really digest this,’ she told her one million followers.

She continued: ‘Speaking for myself, my intentions with this relationship have always been very clear, so the truth is I am crushed.’
‘This was not what I expected or hoped for and am still trying to process this,’ the Sacramento-born beauty explained. ‘2020 was one hell of a year, with COVID, battling severe anxiety post-show, balancing a public new relationship, all while slowly losing my mother. It hasn’t been ideal circumstances, but that is life right. I have been looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel.’
While Crawley pointed out their ‘relationship was not perfect,’ she said she ‘was genuinely invested with all of my heart.’

In his statement, he said ending their whirlwind romance was the ‘healthy decision’ and that they ‘only hope the best things for one another.’

Meanwhile, it didn’t take long for Clare to receive a coffee date offer from The Bachelorette #16 contestant Spencer Robertson, but it’s unclear if she accepted.
Crawley famously eliminated all the contestants during her season in episode four – which was taped in August – to get engaged to Moss.

E! news, broke the news that the former NFL wide receiver and Crawley were ‘taking some time apart.’ A source added that the two had been ‘fighting a lot.’
The outlet initially made it seem as if there could have been hope for the couple.
