Magic Mike star reveals the daily diet that keeps him fit for the stage show

A star in the stage show of Magic Mike in Australia has shared the daily diet that keeps him looking and feeling his best, despite gruelling long hours on and off stage.

Petr Fedorovskii, from Sydney, said while he has always been active and loved sports including surfing and outdoor training, he has tweaked his meals in the past few months in order to get ‘show fit’.

‘I have definitely altered my diet to really prepare my body for what’s to come. Limiting the cakes and cutting out the beer,’ Petr told Body & Soul.

The Magic Mike stage show, currently showing in Sydney, is based on the 2012 American comedy film about the world of male stripping, which starred Channing Tatum in the titular role.

Petr said he typically starts each day with a freshly-made celery juice on an empty stomach, which is good for water retention, hydration and electrolytes.

Following the celery juice, Petr said it’s all about ‘consistent meals’ and dedication with his training.

He might have a bowl of porridge with chia seeds, nuts and berries for breakfast alongside three or four eggs and two yolks.

Petr supplements this with men’s multivitamins, fish oil, greens powder and probiotcis.

‘Your stomach health is key to absorbing those vitamins and minerals throughout the day,’ he said.
