Myleene Klass’ daughters Ava, 13, and Hero, nine, will walk her down the aisle

‘My eldest has a ball gown bigger than mine!’ Myleene Klass’ daughters Ava, 13, and Hero, nine, will walk her down the aisle but star admits she thought she’d be married to fiancé by now

Myleene Klass has been engaged since last September, but the star has confessed she hasn’t got far with her wedding plans, despite her daughters’ help.

The star has admitted she’s put her nuptials with fiancé Simon Motson on hold due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, but her daughters Ava, 13, and Hero, nine, have nevertheless thrown themselves into wedding planning, and even sweetly plan on walking their mother down the aisle.

Myleene spoke to Lorraine on Monday morning about her shock exit from Dancing On Ice, and she admitted her training for the show and other projects on top of homeschooling have left her with no time to plan her big day,

Family affair: Myleene Klass has confessed she hasn’t organised her wedding, but her daughters Ava, 13 and Hero, nine have been busy making plans – insisting they will walk her down the aisle

Myleene’s beau Simon popped the question in a romantic at-home proposal back in September after a five year romance and the star has admitted she thought they would have walked down the aisle by now.

‘We thought we’d be married by now,’ she told Lorraine. ‘The girls have thrown themselves into dress designs and they’re writing our vows for us.’

The star explained that she wants a big wedding with all her family and friends present, something which just isn’t possible under current lockdown restrictions in the UK.

And the two VIP guests will be her daughters, who are desperate to walk Myleene down the aisle.

‘It will happen when lockdown is lifted. It wouldn’t be possible to go ahead without our friends and family there. They’ve decided they are giving me away! Ava has a ball gown bigger than my gown, it’s on,’ Myleene laughed.

While there’s no wedding bells yet, the star added of her family, which also includes Simon’s two children and their shared son Apollo, one: ‘We’re blissfully happy, I feel very fortunate with my family life.’

Ava and Hero have also been cheering their mum on during her months of training for Dancing On Ice.

Unfortunately Myleene found herself in the Skate Off on Sunday night, and ended up being the first celeb voted out of the ITV show.

‘They’ve absolutely loved it. I’m so proud to have done this to show them, try new things,’ Myleene said of her daughters’ support.

‘Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t but have the courage to step out of your comfort zone.’

‘This sport is not for the faint hearted. To try anything new when you’re dealing with lockdown and homeschooling and work, it’s a lot to take on.’

‘I feel super proud. I look at the line-up and there’s Olympians and young players in the game. I feel really proud. I’m amazed I could skate like that. I’ve got a new skill.’
