In a voice-over, Jennifer is heard saying: ‘If there’s one thing I’ve learned from being a mom it’s that parents and kids always disagree on one thing, rules.

‘Saying no 50 times an hour, is part of the job. All of that is about to change.’

Jennifer’s Allison is seen trying to stop her kids from hurting themselves in a variety of scenarios, including one which sees her son attempt to fly using fireworks strapped to his back.

Their eldest daughter Ellie (Everly Carganilla) appears frustrated with her parents constantly telling them no, so she brings up the prospect of Yes Day much to the delight of Katie and Nando (Jenna Ortega and Julian Lerner).

She quips: ‘Have you heard about Yes Day? It’s this new thing where parents have to do whatever their kids ask for for 24 hours.’

Nando then jokes: ‘Well Yes Days are fun, and mom and dad are fun killers.’

Carlos claims they are ‘plenty fun’, with Allison adding her support by saying: ‘We used to say yes to everything, we can be fun again.’

The pair don’t quite know what’s about to hit them though, as they start their Yes Day by letting their kids dress them up with Allison being given pigtails with colourful ribbons and sparkling eye shadow all over her face.

Carlos, meanwhile, is dressed up as a superhero with a blue mask drawn over his eyes for an amusing look before they head to the car wash.

Trying to see the limits of their patience for Yes Day, Ellie, Katie and Nando demand they roll down the windows when the car wash started so they could get wet, which surprisingly their parents agree to.
