She upgraded her smile last year in August, but was left unimpressed when her veneers started moving.

The Gogglebox star, 30, was concerned after her pearly whites displaced to form a gap, but she found humour in the bad situation and joked: ‘People started to mistake me for Madonna.’

Gleaming white: Scarlett Moffatt unveiled her temporary teeth on Friday as she eagerly awaits new pearly whites after her previous veneers, which were installed last year, started moving

Speaking to her Instagram followers, Scarlett discussed her new teeth: ‘These are my fake ones, but hopefully in a couple of weeks I will have new veneers which I am very excited about.

‘My old one started moving and I had a gap – people started to mistake me for Madonna. There’s only one Madonna, so I’ll stick to being Scarlett Moffatt.’

She also promoted her dental practice, Queensway Dental in Newcastle, as she confirmed she is no longer ‘anxious’ when visiting the dentist.

The upload comes after Scarlett candidly revealed to MailOnline that her first date with her boyfriend of two years, Scott Dobinson, was ‘the worst date I’ve ever been on’.

While promoting the new Go Ahead ‘Snaccident’ campaign, she recalled her first official date with her policeman beau and said: ‘It was probably the worst date I’ve ever had!

‘We went out for food and he just chatted about himself, and I thought, “oh god, I’ve got another one of them where it’s just all about them”.

‘I know a lot of girls would say, “well, I’m just not going to see him again,” but I thought I wanted to confront him and find out why he only spoke about himself a lot.

‘I asked him to Starbucks the next day and I said to him, “Scott you never asked me any questions.”‘

The TV sensation, who shot to stardom on Gogglebox in 2014, confirmed her boyfriend was hesitant to ask personal questions as he didn’t want her to think he had the wrong intentions or was only interested in her career.

She continued: ‘He said, “if I’m honest, I feel like because you are who you are, I didn’t want it to look like I was prying for information and I didn’t want to ask you too much because of that.”

‘I was like, “oh that makes sense,” and from then on, we’ve been great. He’s just the nicest human. I’ve never met someone like him who hasn’t got a bad bone in his body, he’s the sweetest.

‘And now it’s funny because he describes it as his best first date and I always say it was my worst. Definitely something to tell the future kids one day.’

The couple’s romance began when she made an emergency 999 call after seeing a stranger outside her home in 2019.

The ‘fit’ constable arrived at her door which sparked conversation, but according to Scarlett, they had known each other for several years.

The Queen of the I’m A Celeb Jungle revealed they had been speaking on-and-off since she was 18-years-old, but the timing was never right due to work commitments or previous relationships.

Scarlett said: ‘We would message on Facebook but then it would die off because we were both busy.

‘But I think we were always meant to be together, which I know sounds really soppy and it makes me cringe to say,’ she laughed. ‘But I do honestly think we were always meant to be together.’
