‘At least you don’t have to wear the cone of shame!’ Today show reminds Allison Langdon to ‘look on the bright side’ after her knee surgery for a severe hydrofoiling accident

She recently underwent knee surgery after a hydrofoiling accident in Queensland.

In a post to the official Today show Instagram account, the 41-year-old was humorously compared to her black Labrador, Sport, who currently has an injured paw.

The pooch looked glum in the picture, with a truncated cone around his head to stop him from chewing at his bandaged paw.

‘Look on the bright side Ally, at least you don’t have to wear the cone of shame!’ the Today show captioned the post, alongside a laughing face and dog emoji.

Allison can also be seen in the picture, blissfully minding her business as she elevated her leg on a recliner lounge chair and read to her children – Mack, four, and Scout, two.

‘Take care, hope you have a speedy recovery, miss you in the morning,’ one of the page’s followers commented under the post.
