Marmite delighted fans when it launched their limited-edition chilli infused Dynamite spread, earlier this month, with the nation bursting with excitement to get its hands on the hot product.

With stocks flying off supermarket shelves, the spread has now appeared on eBay for 250 per cent more than the original £3.99 cost.  

Single jars are being sold for £13.99 upwards with sets of six jars reaching £65.

Sold listings on the website show Brits going wild for the spicy toast topper, with one person paying £30 for three jars and dozens paying upwards of £12 for one. 

Despite the eBay sales Sainsbury’s are still in stock of the spread, where it cost £4 for a 250g jar.

The chilli flavour yeast extract spread fortified with B vitamins, is limited-edition and exclusive to Sainsbury’s and made with 99 per cent by-product sourced from the brewing industry.

Marmite say the Dynamite Chilli yeast spread delivers the same delicious umami magic but now with a limited-edition spicy edge.

Since launching earlier this month, many Marmite lovers have taken to Twitter to share their appreciation for the spread.

‘Never knew I needed this in my life so badly,’ said one.

‘Finally got my hands on a jar of #MarmiteDynamite and it’s lovely. A great kick of chilli. A winner in my opinion,’ added another.

‘Probably the best @marmite made, chilli is an inspired addition,’ wrote another.
