Katie Holmes proves spring is in the air wearing a floral dress as she picks up coffee in New York

A new season is just around the corner.

And Katie Holmes was ready to usher in spring as she rocked a floral dress while out and about in New York on Wednesday afternoon.

The 42-year-old actress looked chic in the bohemian-inspired frock which draped down to her ankles as she picked up coffee in Manhattan. 

Katie’s cute dress featured a delicate grey and red floral print with a cut out below her bust and gorgeous billowing sleeves.

Fabric draped down just below her knees and she paired her sweet dress with classic white Keds.

She kept her accessories to a minimum aside from a brown leather bag strapped across her shoulder and a simple necklace. 

The Dawson’s Creek star tied back her brunette tresses into a messy bun and wore a black face mask to protect herself and others amid the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Katie was spotted carrying two cups of coffee as she pounded the pavement through city streets, likely one for her boyfriend, Emilio Vitolo Jr.

She went public with her relationship to the restaurateur toward the end of summer, with relationship rumors swirling that he was still engaged to designer Rachel Emmons at the time.  

She began dating Tom Cruise in 2005 and the couple were engaged seven weeks into their relationship.

Less than a year after their daughter, Suri, was born, the couple were married during a Scientologist wedding at the Castello Orsini-Odescalchi in Bracciano in November 2006.

Katie has made the most of her time at home amid various lockdowns and quarantines by practicing a few of her favorite hobbies including painting and photography.
