The Star Wars actress, 28, delighted judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with her moves when they came to talk to her during their walkthrough for the first challenge, which saw her make 12 millionaire shortbread.

Prue asked Daisy if they could have ‘one lesson in lightsaber movements’, and Daisy said: ‘Oh I can do that, of all the things I thought might happen it wasn’t this.’

The Murder On The Orient Express star asked what the pair and co-host Matt Lucas would ‘like to know’, and Paul simply asked: ‘What can you do?’

Daisy took her rolling pin in hand and gave it a twirl as she did while portraying Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, and then went on to move it from on side to the other while twirling it.

Paul gushed: ‘oh that’s nice’, while Matt joked she ‘could become a majorette’ with moves like that.

Daisy appeared on the show alongside Alexandra Burke, Rob Beckett and Tom Allen, and the singer, 32, was ultimately crowned Star Baker.

Daisy portrayed Rey in three films, The Force Awakens in 2015, The Last Jedi in 2017, and The Rise of Skywalker in 2019.

In the films, her character, a scavenger from Jakku, learned of her abilities with the force, and worked with the Resistance to defeat the First Order, lead by Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis).

The trilogy ended with Rey taking on the Skywalker name after defeating Emperor Palpatine and being brought back to life by Ben Solo, who had turned back to the light and given up the name Kylo Ren.

Last week, Daisy revealed she has been keeping busy during lockdown by learning to be a doula and called it ‘an amazing thing to do’.
