Appearing in Woman’s Day magazine this week, the overjoyed new mother revealed the little boy arrived on February 18, weighing just 4.08kg.

The couple, who already share four-year-old daughter Valentina, revealed the unique name of the toy as ‘Cartel’.

‘A part of me couldn’t believe he was actually in my arms, while the other part felt like I had known him my entire life,’ Maria told the magazine.

‘Knowing we’ve brought another angel into this world is so special,’ the Adelaide-based mother-of-two said.

Maria filmed Yummy Mummies while she was pregnant with Valentina. However, this time she welcomed her newest bundle of joy away from the cameras.

‘I had a lot more time to be able to really prepare myself for labour… this time without cameras,’ she said.

Maria announced in August she was pregnant for a second time, sharing a glamorous shot of her family.

‘I’m pregnant! Thank you, God,’ she wrote in the caption.

Special bond: 'A part of me couldn't believe he was actually in my arms, while the other part felt like I had known him my entire life,' she told the magazine

She told Woman’s Day: ‘Motherhood makes me want to be the best version of myself for my family. I’m excited to go through pregnancy without the TV show.’

Yummy Mummies was a ratings flop on Channel Seven in 2017, but was a surprise hit when it was picked up by streaming platform Netflix.

Since leaving the reality show after one season, Maria has turned her back on her friendship with co-stars Lorinska Merrington, Jane Scandizzo and Rachel Watts.

Maria, who received the ‘villain’ edit on Yummy Mummies, said that she’d ‘blocked’ the women on social media.

The socialite added: ‘I don’t need them in my life.’

‘One of them said I ruined her baby shower and I’m not about to bring what happened on the show into real life,’ she explained.
