Booka Nile and Jake Edwards get cosy amid rumours of another Married At First Sight cheating scandal

They were both paired with other people, but the chemistry between Booka Nile and Jake Edwards on Married At First Sight is undeniable.

Booka, 31, and Jake looked incredibly cosy as they filmed scenes together for the hit Channel Nine reality show back in November.

It comes on the back of rumours of another MAFS cheating scandal, after video emerged of Booka and Jake, 32, sharing a passionate kiss on New Year’s Eve.

The would-be couple shared an engulfing hug as they filmed for the show at the scenic Kalinya Estate in Bargo in New South Wales.

Jake enveloped a smiling Booka in an all-consuming hug, as she reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck.

The pair then pulled back and gazed adoringly at each other, before Booka followed Jake down a verandah.

They then sat opposite each other at a barrel table and enjoyed an intimate chat, with both appearing happy and relaxed in each other’s presence.

Their rendezvous came after Jake was reportedly caught sneaking into Booka’s hotel room at the luxury estate.

Following their meeting, Booka and Jake then returned to their partners, Brett Helling and Rebecca Zemek, respectively. 

On Wednesday, Daily Mail Australia revealed that Booka and Jake shared a boozy ‘three-way kiss’ during a New Year’s Eve party in Perth. 

Footage of the kiss appears to confirm that Jake and Booka are more than just friends, after they previously denied they were dating. 

While Jake’s relationship with Beck, 27, has been rocky from day one, fans will be surprised by Booka’s behaviour because things seem to be going well for her and Brett so far on the show.  

Jake and Booka were friends before appearing on Married At First Sight, but they have always refuted any suggestion of a romance. 

While the video only shows Jake giving Booka a peck, sources say there was definite chemistry between them on the night. 

Meanwhile, Booka is believed to have split from Brett, 31, in November, with their emotional breakup happening after homestays.

Jake and Beck made it another week in the experiment before finally ending things at the final commitment ceremony. 

According to a guest at the NYE party, Jake jokingly kissed MAFS bride Beth Moore, before Beth, 39, kissed Booka, and Jake ‘couldn’t stop himself from giving Booka a kiss’, too. 

Daily Mail Australia understands the three-way kiss was discussed at the cast reunion, which was filmed in Sydney last month and will air at the end of the season.

The kiss apparently took the MAFS cast by surprise, and some even speculated Jake and Booka were going to arrive at the reunion as a couple. 

But Booka insisted she and Jake are just friends during an interview with Hit FM’s Jimmy & Nath earlier this month.  

‘If Jake and I wanted to be together, we would’ve done it in the outside world, would we not? We wouldn’t have been on Married At First Sight,’ she told the radio show, adding that it was ‘really nice to have a trusted friend [on the show]’.
