Saturday Night Takeaway: Sir Mo Farah squeals as Ant and Dec force him to lie down in an ICE BATH

Sir Mo Farah is in for a shock as he takes part in Get Out Of Me Ear in Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. 

In scenes set to air on Saturday’s series finale, the Olympian is instructed to lie down in an ice bath while giving a tour of his bathroom to unbeknownst guests. 

A teaser clip shows Sir Mo, 38, standing in the bath filled with ice as he talks to a man called Ricky, who is completely unaware the athlete is taking part in Get Out of Me Ear.

The popular Saturday Night Takeaway segment follows a series of celebrities as they are instructed to carry out often embarrassing tasks, which are instructed by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 45, through an ear piece. 

In the clip, Mo says to Ricky as he clambers into the bath: ‘Come on, come in,’ as Ant says through laughter: ‘I didn’t think he’d actually do it!’. 

The cheeky duo then tell the I’m A Celebrity star to say: ‘That is cold Ricky… I tell you what’s cold, when I lay down.’

Ricky exclaims and dips a finger in the freezing cold water. 

Psyching himself up, Mo says: ‘Come on Ricky, come on’, before submerging himself in the ice bath. 

Ant claps and says: ‘yes Mo!’, as they watch the scene unfold in another room and falls about laughing when the athlete screams because he is so cold. 

The series finale will see Mo Gillagan star as the Guest Announcer while there will be a special End of the Show Show with Jon Courtenay.

Other highlights set to appear on the programme include the final episode of their drama Double Trouble, which sees their evil clones target them. 

Stephen Mulhern revealed this Saturday show’s would be the last of the series. 

Closing off last week’s show, and joking about how it was now called ‘Stephen Mulhern’s Saturday Night Takeaway, he informed fans the next episode was the final one this season as he said: ‘Join me next week for the last show of the series’ 

At the end of the episode, it was also confirmed by a voiceover from ITV that the show would be airing its last episode of the season the next week.

ITV representatives confirmed to MailOnline that the show was always planned to air just seven episodes, and the same number of episodes were broadcast for last year’s show.  

Other highlights set to appear on the programme include the final episode of their drama Double Trouble, which sees their evil clones target them. 

Fans of the show took to Twitter to express their sadness over the show had reached its final episode of the series already. 

One upset fan shared a picture of a person crying, and wrote: ‘it’s the last episode of the season next week?? im not ready (sic).’

Another added they were feeling ‘a little emotional knowing it’s the last episode of #SaturdayNightTakeaway next week’

Unhappy with the news, one viewer added: ‘#SaturdayNightTakeaway nice show last night the last epiosde next week 🙁 🙁 :(‘
