Chris Hemsworth made the most of a day off from filming the upcoming Thor instalment, Love and Thunder.

The 37-year-old actor was spotted enjoying a rare beer with his long-time best friend and personal assistant, Aaron Grist, at North Bondi Fish in Sydney on Monday.

Sitting at an outdoor table with a group of male friends, including Aaron, 37, Chris contentedly sipped on a schooner.

The men sat talking on the restaurant’s balcony, with Chris keeping a low profile under a beige-coloured trucker cap and dark sunglasses.

The Hollywood heartthrob also stepped out in a pair of light blue jeans, a grey T-shirt and ecru-coloured sneakers.

After drinks, Chris was helped into a dark SUV by Aaron, which waited on the street nearby the restaurant.

He ducked his head as he climbed into the back of the vehicle, with Aaron assisting him with the door.

The superstar made a low-key exit via a back door at the restaurant, with Aaron chatting on his phone as they made their way out onto the street.

Chris and Aaron have been best friends ever since they met in primary school, and they now work together.

‘When we first met at school I knew I had to to be friends with you. Not because of your personality but because you were really good looking and I thought that might make you famous somehow in life, I was right,’ he joked.
