EXCLUSIVE: Amber Davies’ BRITs night ‘ruined’ by Gemma Collins as feuding pair clash in first meeting since TOWIE star nearly crushed her at Radio 1 Teen Awards

Amber Davies was left ‘distressed’ after having her night at the BRIT Awards ‘ruined’ by Gemma Collins.

TOWIE star Gemma, 40, demanded to know why Amber had been giving her ‘dirty looks’ as the pair watched the BRITs from a corporate box at London’s O2 arena on Tuesday.

Insiders from the ceremony told MailOnline the Love Island winner, 24, was made to feel ‘uncomfortable’ by Gemma, who approached her while she sat at the bar with radio presenter Roman Kemp, 28.

It’s the first time the pair have confronted each other since they clashed in 2017 when Gemma fell through a trap door at the Radio 1 Teen Awards and nearly crushed Amber, who accused her of belittling her in the aftermath.

A source said: ‘Amber isn’t a confrontational person, so she felt out of her depth when Gemma came over to her at the BRITs.

‘Gemma wanted to know why Amber had been giving her dirty looks, which made things very uncomfortable.

‘Luckily, before tensions got any worse, Gemma left the awards early, but Amber still felt as though her night had been ruined.’

A source close to Amber said: ‘Amber is going to try and instigate a plan to resolve the issues with Gemma and meet up socially to work through their differences.’

Gemma and Amber had both been invited to enjoy the music event from a corporate box, which is an area that encourages guests to eat and drink.

In celebration of her first night out since lockdown, Gemma ordered Dom Pérignon Vintage champagne that cost £150 and later said: ‘I’ve had the time of my life.’

She wore a glamorous silver gown with a high-thigh slit and had her makeup done by Pat McGrath’s professional team.

Whereas Amber said on her Instagram a day after the event: ‘Had such an off couple of weeks… feel like I want to press a big refresh button.’

MailOnline contacted Amber and Gemma’s representatives for comment.

Gemma hinted she had a problem with Amber after she fell through a trap door at the Radio 1 Teen Awards in 2017.

The GC was left badly bruised while Amber, who was on stage collecting an award, had a ‘really achy dodgy knee’ from where Gemma had ‘whacked it.’

Amber then branded Gemma ‘rude’ for referring to her as a ‘little girl’ and claimed the Diva Forever star refused to call her by name during interviews.

In 2017, she said: ‘Before going on stage we were introduced to each other so she knows my name.

‘But then on This Morning she said, “That poor girl nearly got crushed, there’s nothing of her.” And in another interview she said: “That little girl got knocked down!” How rude is that?’

Amber further explained: ‘If I was a few centimetres back she could have actually dropped on me.

‘I’ve been having to take paracetamol because I’ve got a really achy, dodgy knee from where she whacked it.’

Shortly after the accident, Gemma said: ‘I just want to apologise because I wiped them out. They had to go and see the paramedics afterwards.’
