EastEnders’ Adam Woodyatt ‘closes the management he started with his estranged wife Beverley after taking a lengthy break from the soap’

EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt has reportedly closed down his management agency that he first started with his estranged wife Beverley Sharp.

Sources claim the actor, 52, who is taking a break from his role as Ian Beale, has signed up with a new service after deciding to close his old company.

Adams’ ‘personal management service’, XL, only represented Adam and was started with his ex Beverley, 56, from whom he split in August 2020 after 22 years of marriage.

His spouse reportedly negotiated his salary on EastEnders and other acting jobs while they were together under the Warwickshire based company.

But now they’ve split, Adam has reportedly shut down the management service’s website, according to The Sun.

However, XL is still listed on Companies House and in 2019 had a bottomline of almost £250,000.

MailOnline has contacted Adam’s representatives for comment.

Ian is now represented by the London based company QTalent as he continues to enjoy his 10-month sabbatical from EastEnders in his motorhome.

The soap star originally bought the £93,000 home on wheels to live in while performing in a touring play.

Although the play has been pushed back several times, Adam has ensured to make the most of the situation and been enjoying trips in the vehicle.

He told The Sun: ‘I’ve got a motorhome ready for the tour so I won’t have to worry about staying in hotels or anything like that.

‘But I’ve taken advantage of it and I’m currently in a field in Devon.’

The break comes after Adam separated from Beverley in August 2019.

XL was not the only venture the couple began together, they also shared a gin company that had received rave reviews from the likes of chef Marco Pierre White.

A friend told The Sun that Beverley was ‘very upset’ at the split but added that it’s a ‘straightforward separation’.

They said: ‘Nobody plans for these things and divorce is a difficult thing to get your head around They have dealt with it quietly for several months and are now telling friends so it’s less of a secret.

‘They still get on well, and are keen to make sure they stay that way for the sake of their children – even though they are now grown up.

Adam and Beverley had been married since 1998 and have two children – Jessica, 27, and Samuel, 23.

A spokesperson for the actor said at the time: ‘Beverley and Adam separated in August last year and we ask that the family’s privacy is respected.’
