Michelle Keegan confirms Brassic’s third series will air in October – before confirming the show has ALREADY been renewed for a fourth run

She plays the outspoken Erin Croft in Sky One’s Brassic. 

And Michelle Keegan, 34, delighted fans on her Instagram Stories on Monday evening when she confirmed the show is set to return to screens for its third series in October.

Speaking to her followers during an Instagram Q and A, the actress went onto confirm the comedy has already been renewed for a fourth instalment, and is scheduled to resume filming in August.

The actress, who is married to former TOWIE star Mark Wright, 34, opened up about being nervous for her Instagram Live session after typically keeping a low profile on social media. 

She took to her Stories to discuss her new collaboration with Spectrum Collections, a makeup brush brand, while enjoying a spot of tapas takeaway. 

One follower messaged Michelle asking: ‘When does Brassic s3 come out?’

‘Beginning of October. But we start filming for season four in August as well,’ Michelle replied.

Discussing Brassic, Michelle and her female pal questioned ‘What did Erin whisper?’ after the show was left on a cliffhanger at the end of season 2.  

The selection of Michelle’s four colourful beauty kits is inspired by Italy’s Amalfi Coast and contains six travel-sized make-up brushes, a mattifying puff, a pencil sharpener and a lip sorbet balm.

Sharing her excitement over the release on Friday, Michelle wrote on Instagram: ‘The secrets outtttt!!!!! So so SO excited to finally be able to share my collaboration with @spectrumcollections.

‘It’s been two years in the making and I can’t believe you’ll be able to get your hands on them NEXT WEEK! I hope you love them as much as I enjoyed creating them!’ 

It comes after the former Our Girl star was reported earlier week to have signed up for a fourth series of Brassic.

Michelle plays feisty Erin Croft in the Sky One comedy series about a group of hapless friends embroiled in a life of petty crime. 

A source told The Sun: ‘Michelle loves the show and filming as Erin – she jumped at the chance to play her again.’ 

It comes as Brassic has been commissioned for a fourth series following its huge success so far. 

The third series of the show is set to hit screens later this year, with the run featuring Michelle, co-star Jo Gilgun (Vinnie O’Neill) and other cast members including Damien Molony, Tom Hanson and Aaron Heffernan.
