And Ed Sheeran has proven just how good friends he is with the 57-year-old actress as he revealed that he orders her an S&M mask each time he visits her home.
The 30-year-old musician was appearing on the Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday when he revealed his practical joke.

While appearing on the show, Ed said: ‘She has this Alexa thing in her house, and she goes, ‘Yeah, this is wonderful. This is my Alexa. I can just order whatever on this’.’
He then revealed that he used the Alexa to order a mask to Courteney’s house while she was out of the room.
However, his prank backfired when one of Courteney’s assistants discovered the mask in the post.
Ed said: ‘She opened the post and she finds this mask and instantly goes, ‘Oh, I don’t think I was meant to see that’ and leaves it on Courteney’s bed. And Courteney comes up, and she’s like, ‘Where did this come from?”

Courteney eventually discovered that Ed had been behind the mask and now he continues to order one for her each time he visits her in LA.
He said: ‘Every time I go back there, I order her another gimp mask. And she has maybe 12, and then, I hide them in people’s bedrooms. So they’ll go in a drawer, and they’ll just find this leather S&M mask.’
Ed also recently revealed that the glasses he is often seen wearing are now simply an accessory after having had laser eye surgery.
The singer was speaking on iHeart Radio in Canada when he said he had the 45-second per eye operation to restore his vision.

He said: ‘I’ve seen through Perspex for the past 28 years and then opening my eyes after laser surgery everything was like full colour, I could read everything, it was amazing.
‘I would highly recommend it for anyone. I’m so annoyed I didn’t get it done before, I’ve missed out on 10 years of awesomeness.’
Ed also recently revealed he would ‘love’ to have more children with his wife Cherry Seaborn, 29.
The musician was speaking on the Open house Party podcast this week when he revealed he would be ‘super grateful’ to add more members to his family.

He said: ‘I would obviously be super grateful to be able to have any more kids, but I think girls are far superior to boys. As a boy myself, I feel like I can say this.

Speaking as a new parent, Ed said that it felt like he joined a ‘club’ after the birth of his daughter Lyra.
Ed said: ‘It’s weird you say club, because I think that whenever you become a parent you enter into this club that all the other parents are in and everyone understands each other.

The singer was also discussing life as a parent this week when he appeared on Mark Wright’s evening show on Heart radio.
Mark asked the singer what a normal night with his wife looks like, to which Ed replied: ‘I mean very different to mine and Cherry’s nights 4 years ago, I’ll say that.
‘We tend to do a lot of cooking together, I never really cooked before, I’ve lost a lot of weight but I used to do like takeaways like everyday, but a lot of cooking, we put on music listen to that.

‘We watch The Simpsons. That’s kind of a typical night and then once a week, I don’t know what you and your wife do, but we are strict with date night. It’s once a week, it has to happen.
‘Whoever’s in town, even if it’s a good friend we haven’t seen in a while, if they want to see us on this certain night, it’s a no, it’s a no.
‘We go to date night and we can’t talk about being parents on date night, we have to ask each other about… because when you’re a parent all you talk about is being a parent 24/7 and you need to have whole time for just you.’
