Kourtney Kardashian pulled out the stops while celebrating her daughter Penelope’s ninth birthday this Thursday.
The 42-year-old reality star fired up her Insta Stories to show that she and her little girl had gotten matching temporary rose tattoos on their feet.
During her social media updates Kourtney also uploaded some heartwarming footage of herself getting her makeup applied by Penelope.

The splashy cosmetics job included a line of sticky rhinestones going up her nose and a temporary tattoo of a cherry under one eye.
Penelope could be seen looking fully focused on the task at hand as she helped apply her mother’s cosmetics.
She wound up giving her mother a hot pink shade of lipstick that was a perfect complement to the rhinestones and the cherry.
Kourtney marked the occasion of her daughter’s birthday by posting a snap that showed Penelope hugging her in bed.

The mother of three wrote in the caption that she has ‘slept with her since the day she was born and today she is 9.’
With the temporary tattoos Kourtney may have taken a leaf from the page of her boyfriend Travis Barker who is famous for having ink all over his body.
In fact during his relationship with Kourtney he signaled how serious he was about her by having her name tattooed onto his chest.
He has also posted an Instagram album showing that she inked the phrase: ‘I love you,’ onto one of his arms.

His ex-wife Shanna Moakler told Kourtney: ‘welcome to the club’ through a TMZ interview, apparently implying her own name is inked on Travis as well.
He also posted an Instagram picture of Kourtney sitting lovingly by him as he got body art of a skull – which Shanna says was to cover up a tattoo of her name.
Shanna, 46, then posted an Instagram video of herself getting her own tattoo of Travis’ name lasered off as her beau Matt Rondeau, 28, stood by.
Kourtney shares all three of her children – Mason, 11, Penelope, nine, and Reign, six – with her smoldering ex-fiance Scott Disick.

On the recent series finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians he said he is ‘coming to terms’ with the idea that he and Kourtney may never get back together.
‘The fact that we have what we have is amazing, and I am grateful for that,’ Scott said, pointing out: ‘Our kids are happy.’
