Married At First Sight’s Cathy Evans waddles around in a nappy as she recovers from $30,000 liposuction
Cathy Evans may be enduring a painful recovery process after undergoing $30,000 worth of liposuction and fat transfers last month.
But the Married At First Sight star hasn’t lost her sense of humour, as she posted a tongue-in-cheek video about her surgical transformation to Instagram on Monday.
In the short clip, the 28-year-old is seen waddling around her home wearing a post-surgical nappy, bandages and black compression garments.

Makeup-free Cathy looked rather frazzled as she struggled to move in the restrictive ensemble.
The footage was accompanied by the song Talk by Renni Rucci, which includes the lyrics: ‘Look like an IG model / walk with a waddle / body shaped like a Coke bottle.’
‘The song vs reality,’ Cathy wrote in the caption, adding: ‘Looking like a IG model *still buffering, all models may vary, conditions and exclusions apply*’

Cathy underwent liposuction on 10 areas of her body and also received a fat transfer to her bottom last month.
Last Tuesday, the reality star updated fans on her procedure, sharing an Instagram video of herself posing in a pair of trackpants.
‘This is the first time I’ve worn pants since my surgery. I look really ridiculous right now because there is so much padding around me,’ she said.
‘I’ve got padding on the back of my back. I’ve got one layer of padding and another one to put in which is in the dryer at the moment,’ she continued.
‘I have this binder and I will also have an ab board to place on in a second and I also have obviously the garment underneath.’
Cathy also admitted: ‘And these trackpants are the only thing that fit me right now.’

According to her surgeon Dr Joseph Waelchli, Cathy underwent Vaser liposuction, a type of procedure that uses ultrasound technology to remove persistent fat deposits.
She also received a ‘mini Brazilian Butt Lift’ – a popular procedure which involves harvesting fat cells from around the body and re-injecting them into the buttocks.
Cathy had the fat cells injected into the sides of her hips and the flat surface of her buttocks to create a rounder-looking rear.
She had revealed on YouTube that she was getting the fat-removal treatment around her arms, upper and lower back, flanks (the area around the hips), upper and lower abdomen, and thighs.
The reality star was considering liposuction around the jaw, which she clearly decided to go for after posting a photo of her neck marked with pen pre-surgery and strapped up in bandages afterwards.
Cathy previously spent $20,000 on various cosmetic procedures, including a boob job, Botox and lip fillers.
