Love Island’s Lucinda Strafford lays into Liam Reardon for kissing girls behind Millie Court’s back

Lucinda Strafford has laid into former Love Island co-star Liam Reardon for kissing girls behind best pal Millie Court’s back.

The Islander, 21, told MailOnline she’s ‘shocked’ by Liam’s behaviour after he was intimate and shared a bed with Lillie Haynes, 22, despite his connection with Millie, 24, during his stint in rival villa Casa Amor.

In an exclusive interview, Lucinda revealed Millie ‘really likes’ Liam and she’ll be devastated if he betrays her, while insisting Hugo Hammond, 24, is a ‘lovely, kind-hearted guy.’

She said: ‘Millie is my absolute girl in there and she and Liam were going amazingly and were so strong when I left but since Casa Amor I am praying, I am keeping everything crossed that Liam does not leave Millie.

‘I am shocked by his behaviour. Jake and Teddy stayed outside, and Liam slept in a bed with Lillie… I know Millie really likes Liam and I really hope they don’t break up to be honest. They were like my mum and dad in there.

‘I love Liberty and Jake too but Millie and I have a special connection because we went in there together.’

P.E. teacher Hugo has struggled to form a romantic connection in the villa, with viewers even doubting his bond with Casa Amor contestant Amy Day, 25, is genuine, after she ignored his compliments, and cringed after their first kiss.

Lucinda is adamant Hugo’s a catch and says he’s felt under ‘pressure’ to couple up with new arrivals, including Georgia Townend, 28, who pursued him from the moment she entered the villa.

She said: ‘In real life he is the most lovely, kind-hearted, genuine guy, and I love him so much. We got on like a house on fire. After Brad left, he was there for me.

‘When I was leaving, I thought “oh no I’m not going to see Hugo.” He is definitely there for love. It’s weird because I don’t think he was treating it like a lads’ holiday, he didn’t really have a connection with AJ, Georgia, he said, I don’t understand why there’s this pressure of me having to like Georgia, they didn’t have that connection.

‘He fancied Chloe and said he wanted someone like Chloe or me to walk in, he did say that quite often, so who knows what’s going to happen.’

Lucinda, who revealed to MailOnline she’s single after herself and Aaron Francis, 24, agreed to just be friends, says there’s no chance of romance with ex-Islander, Danny Bibby, 25.

The plumber was accused of ‘toxic behaviour’, with some viewers criticising his actions towards Lucinda, after he tried to make her ‘jealous’ during the show’s game of Snog, Marry, Pie.

She said: ‘Danny and I did hug it out and we said we would be friends. Straight after we stopped pursuing a romantic connection and we gathered we are only friends, our relationship as a friendship was so much better and more chilled.

‘I wasn’t expecting him to pie me at all, which was a complete surprise. We all thought he would snog or marry me. Boys are boys at the end of the day. He was just a typical boy. I hadn’t spoken to him much that day so; he pied me, which completely backfired!

‘With the way he was towards me… I didn’t feel he was ever horrible to me; the conversation just didn’t flow as much as I wanted it to. I wish him well but unfortunately there’s nothing romantic there between him and me and he hasn’t text me.’
