Everton’s Brazilian star Richarlison has once again suggested he could soon be leaving Goodison Park for the next stage in his career.

The forward has become a firm fans’ favourite on Merseyside following his £44million move from Watford in 2018, though he has been linked with Europe’s elite clubs ever since.

In the last few years Richarlison was reportedly subject to an £85m Barcelona bid, while Paris Saint-Germain have made their interest known too.

A move to the latter would see him paired up front with his close friend and international team-mate Neymar, though in a recent interview Richarlison has remained coy on the subject.

Speaking to Ole, he said: ‘I’m always very careful when I talk about it.

‘I have great affection for the people of Everton and for the club, who received me so well from the first day I arrived.

‘I don’t know what the future holds. If one day I have to go, it must be good for me, but also for the club.

‘But if I stay, I will continue giving my life for this shirt and for the fans, who have always supported me and were with me at all times.

‘I have enormous gratitude and feel at home when I am at Finch Farm training ground or Goodison Park stadium.’

Richarlison returned to action with Everton after playing a pivotal role in Brazil’s run to the Copa America final and later winning gold at the Tokyo Olympics with the men’s football team.

He has been instrumental for new boss Rafa Benitez so far this season, helping the Toffees to a strong start in the league.

Four wins and a draw from the opening six matches of the season sees Richarlison and Co currently sitting six in the Premier League.
