Ashley Olsen opts for a white ensemble as she puffs a cigarette post lunch with friends in New York

She found fame as a child actress before switching gears into the world of fashion.

And Ashley Olsen looked positively care-free as she puffed on a cigarette after lunch with friends in Manhattan on Sunday afternoon.

The 35-year-old designer rocked an all-white ensemble for the midday outing in New York City, a stark contrast from her usual black attire.

The Full House icon dressed in layers wearing an over-sized button-down shirt on top of a matching tank tip.

She cuffed her white straight-leg jeans to reveal a pair of chunky black leather boots, which matched her shoulder bag.

Ashley wore a pair of orange-tinted sunglasses and kept her mask positioned over her mouth when she wasn’t smoking. 

Ashley recently made a red carpet appearance for the first time in two years, and was joined by her longtime love, Louis Eisner.

The couple managed to keep their romance rather private through their years together, although their first public appearance was all the way back in October 2017 at the Hammer Museum’s Gala In The Garden.

The pair are said to have been friends for some time before taking things beyond the platonic stage.

Though Eisner rarely walks the red carpet with Olsen (who is also known to evade the cameras), a source told Radar the pair are ‘very much in love’ and just prefer their privacy.

‘It’s not that they are trying to keep their relationship on the down low, Louis just doesn’t like the spotlight—even less so than Ashley,’ they explained.

In 2018, the site said the couple were moving at their own pace, with an insider dishing: ‘They’re not in a rush.’

‘He’s a long-term relationship kind of guy, but he doesn’t follow societal norms.’

While Ashley seems to be smitten, her twin sister and creative partner Mary-Kate is living the single life following her contentious divorce from Oliver Sarkozy, 51.
