Aldi’s ‘Entertainer’ by Monarc costs just a fraction of the original version, which is available at Coles and Woolworths for $6.60.

Shoppers have expressed their excitement after the budget buy returned to the freezer aisles, along with the new caramel flavour.
‘It’s back with an extra version. I love the original one… will try this latest one too,’ one customer wrote in a Facebook group.
Those who tried the new flavour said it tasted ‘amazing’ and ‘good’.
‘These are awesome. Tried this recently as I always buy Viennetta and was actually quite impressed by the Aldi version. It was quite creamy,’ one wrote.

‘That fancy dessert you remember from your childhood is back,’ the supermarket wrote in November 2019 along with a photo of the tasty treat, on Facebook.
Many said the ice cream was a crowd pleaser around the dinner table growing up, while others revealed it was their favourite ‘cake’ to enjoy on their birthdays.
