And now it has emerged that green campaigner Greta Thunberg is also happy to raise it in a more musical manner.

On his official Twitter account, Astley wrote: ‘Fantastic and Tack så mycket! Rick x’ In English, the latter phrase translates to: ‘Thanks so much.’
