He’s known for his acting roles in Fifty Shades of Grey, Marie Antoinette and A Private War.

And Jamie Dornan proved himself to be a multitalented performer as he took to the stage to belt out a tune at the premiere after-party of his new film, Belfast, in Los Angeles on Monday night.

The actor put on a confident display as he grabbed the microphone to sing for the star-studded attendees accompanied by a full band.

Jamie looked every inch the crooner as he stormed the stage in a black roll neck and a matching clean cut suit.

He sang to celebrate the release of his Oscar-nominated film in which he and his co-star Caitriona Balfe play the characters Pa and Ma, who are parents to a son named Buddy (played by Jude Hill).

The plot follows Buddy’s childhood during a period of intense political and religious conflict in 1960s Northern Ireland and is based on the life of writer-director Kenneth Branagh.

In romantic scenes released by Focus Features on Monday, Jamie is seen showcasing his musical talents in the film as he serenades Caitriona by passionately singing Everlasting Love to her as she stands in the crowd.

Of singing on-screen, Jamie told UTV’s Kelly Show: ‘I always say that I can sing as much as much as the next douchey actor guy can sing. I think most actors, male and female, can sing.

‘I can sing a bit. I never wanted to be in a band. It was just one of those things. It kind of happened and we were pushed along a certain path. I’m a reluctant singer. I did it in a forum where I was uncomfortable.

‘Now, when I have to do it in the odd movie, I’m more comfortable,’ he added.

At the party, Jamie’s 11-year-old co-star Jude looked adorably handsome in a velour tux as he smiled on his big night.

He snagged the role when he was just nine-years-old and was chosen out of a whopping 300 kids.

Recalling the moment he got the good news, he told the Irish publication BelfastLive: ‘As soon as the email came through that I was accepted into Belfast, I ran around my house screaming.’

Caitriona of Outlander fame looked simple yet stunning at the party in a black dress with bedazzled trimming on the collar and sleeves which also lined the ruffled accents on the dress.

A matching embellished belt cinched her waist and she paired the frock with chunky platform boots and added an orangey-red lip for a pop of color.

As Caitriona played Jude’s mum in the film, the two looked to share a sweet maternal-like bond as she wrapped her arms around her tiny co-star at the gathering.

Belfast enjoyed a Northern Ireland premiere on November 4 and was also screened at the Telluride Film Festival on September 2.

It is set to hit theatres in the UK on January 21 next year.
