Love Island Australia: Aaron Waters says he hates crying because it’s ‘bad for your skin’

Ryan Reid’s dumping from Love Island Australia left Aaron Waters inconsolable during Tuesday’s episode.

The 24-year-old turned to girlfriend Jess Velkovski for comfort, crying over his friend’s departure from the show.

But as he struggled to contain his emotions, Aaron told Jess, 23, he was worried all of his crying would ruin his skin. 

‘I hate crying. It wrecks my skin,’ he sighed.

A confused Jess asked Aaron to explain what he meant, and he told her it was ‘just bad for your skin’.

‘Rubbing and irritation,’ he added.

Jess had a surprising response to Aaron’s confession, telling him that it was better out than in.

‘But do you know if you store it you can get fat? Because the chloresol [sic] levels rise in your body,’ she told him.

Her explanation prompted Aaron to quietly chuckle, seemingly out of disbelief. 

Speaking about Ryan’s departure, a devastated Aaron said ‘words cannot even describe how tough it was’.

‘The bond that we have and the connection that we share together, it’s, like, unmatched, you know,’ he said of Ryan, 25.

As they hugged goodbye, Ryan told Aaron: ‘I f**king love you.’
