Love Island Australia’s Sadee Sub Laban breaks his silence on unproven allegations that emerged during his stint on the dating show

A Love Island Australia star has addressed a series of unproven claims that were made against him during his stint on the Channel Nine dating show.

Sadee Sub Laban, a 20-year-old law student, categorically denied all allegations on Instagram Live on Monday, following his exit from the series.

‘If there was hundreds of girls going to [the] police to report me and hundreds of videos with me, I’m pretty sure police wouldn’t keep me on the outside world,’ he said.

The former Penrith Panthers under-20s player said that within an hour of entering the villa, he was pulled aside by producers who asked him about the untested claims.

‘I was told what was happening… What was going on was massive on the outside world,’ he said, adding that he was ‘ready to leave’ once he heard about the rumours.

Laban fiercely denied anonymous reports he harassed women on dating apps.

Responding to one Instagram follower who called him out for contacting her on Instagram when she was 16, he said: ‘Just so you know, honey, 16 is legal age.’

‘You followed me and I may have replied, but it’s not illegal to reply to a 16-year-old, and secondly, you hit me up and I got that screenshot,’ he added.

Laban went on to say the unproven claims being made against him were years old and stemmed from when he was a minor.

‘I just turned 20, so that’s what you need to understand. Most of this stuff is, like, two years ago. I was 17 and 18 at that time,’ he said.

He then denied claims he once ‘locked someone in a car’, then urged people to come forward with any other stories they have about him.

‘That’s crap! First of all how did your friend get in the car?’ he laughed.

When asked why he thinks people are coming forward with unproven accusations, Laban said he feels like they just want 'clout'
