Oprah Winfrey hilariously sings wrong lyrics to Adele’s hit track Hello at her  concert special

Oprah Winfrey was caught hilariously singing the wrong lyrics to Adele’s hit Hello at the singer’s One Night Only comeback concert in Los Angeles.

While standing next to Lizzo in a feather trimmed Sally LaPointe suit, the talk show host oozed confidence as she flubbed the verses, before nailing the chorus just minutes later.

‘@adele had us at hello! @lizzobeeating what concert are we going to next?!’ the 67-year-old TV icon captioned the footage of her looking lost in the moment as she belted along to 2015 chart topper.

Despite not knowing every word to the track, the best-selling author didn’t bat an eye as she hummed and mouthed made-up lyrics.

Still eagle-eyed Adele fans were quick to comment on Winfrey’s lack of familiarity with the song, released six years ago.

‘One thing about Oprah, is that she won’t know the lyrics,’ one Twitter user joked, while another cheekily asked: ‘Oprah baby, what song you singing?!’

Among the few playful quips at the star’s expense, most people praised her for ‘always’ singing ‘the wrong words to her guest’s songs with 100% confidence.’

‘When the song is good but you don’t know the lyrics. We’ve been there. Many times. We feel you ❤️’ another tweeted.

The concert proceeded Winfrey’s highly-anticipated interview with Adele, which aired on Sunday.

During their sit-down chat, Adele said her ex Simon Konecki ‘saved her life’ because he gave her ‘stability’ after she found herself on a ‘self-destructive path.’

The singer, 33, who split from the charity mogul in 2019 after just over a year of marriage, confessed she could have become ‘lost’ as a young woman in the music industry, but believes Simon and their son Angelo, nine, were ‘angels sent to her.’

Speaking during her One Night Only CBS special, Adele also revealed that a magazine personality quiz drove her to her decision to divorce Simon two years ago, which helped her realize she was just ‘plodding along’ in her marriage.

She told Winfrey: ‘I think Simon probably saved my life, to be honest with you. He came at such a moment, where the stability that him and Angelo have given me, no one else would ever have been able to give me.

‘Especially at that time, I was so young and I just, I think I would have got a bit lost in all of it.

‘I could have easily gone down some dodgy paths, you know? And sort of self-destructed from being overwhelmed by all of it.

‘He came in and was stable. The most stable person I’ve ever had in my life up until that point. Even now, I trust him with my life.’

Adele went onto say that she believes Simon and Angelo were ‘angels sent to [her],’ and the hardest part of her split was explaining the separation to their son.

She said: ‘I do love [your dad], I’m not not in love with him,’ it makes absolutely no sense to a six year old.

‘So there were so many answers I just couldn’t give him ’cause there aren’t any really. Like, you know, that he would understand.’

Gracing the cover of Rolling Stone, the singer confessed she had become so far from the person she was before they tied the knot that she made the difficult decision to walk away from their marriage.

She said: ‘I didn’t really know myself.’ I thought I did. I don’t know if it was because my Saturn return or if it was because I was well and truly sort of heading into my thirties, but I just didn’t like who I was. I didn’t really know myself.

‘I thought I did. But I just didn’t like who I was.’

Reflecting on the end of their marriage, she added: ‘It made me really sad. Then having so many people that I don’t know, know that I didn’t make that work…

‘It f*****g devastated me. I was embarrassed. No one made me feel embarrassed, but you feel like you didn’t do a good job.’
