Sister Wives’ Christine Brown admits she doesn’t even hold hands with husband Kody Brown

Christine Brown announced the end of her marriage to Kody Brown last month.

But the cracks in their decades-long relationship were evident in a new Sister Wives sneak peek.

In a clip of the upcoming premiere episode obtained by People, Christine, 49, called her marriage ‘sad’ and admitted she and Kody, 52, didn’t even hold hands.

‘I never wanted the kind of marriage that I have now’: Sister Wives Christine Brown expressed her sadness at the state of her union with Kody Brown in a new sneak peek of their TLC show

The sneak peek begins with the family discussing divvying up the Arizona property they had just moved to amongst everyone.

But Christine, still hoping they would eventually move back to Utah, could not contain her disappointment.

While Robyn and Janelle were sympathetic to Christine and her feelings, Kody seemed more focused on their new property.

‘Did you hear the angels sing again?’ Robyn asks as the family sits around in a circle.

‘Not today,’ Christine replies.

‘Christine is upset. I understand it,’ Robyn says in a confessional before letting out a long exhale. ‘It’s scary. It’s been absolutely scary what our family culture is looking like because we are not spending time together.’

Janelle said she wanted to ‘honor’ where Christine was at as she addressed the group.

‘I don’t know if this is something that fixes itself right away so don’t be thinking it’s all gone like it’s all put to bed or whatever. I want to honor where you are,’ Janelle says.

Kody, however, was intent on moving forward with their new living arrangements.

‘We have to get this property, all the property boundaries figured out though. That we have to do because we’ve gotta be able to move on that,’ Kody says. ‘We don’t want to wait any longer.’

‘This whole thing is hard,’ Christine admits in a confessional. ‘It’s not just about moving back to Utah, it’s not just about that. Like, I’m not going to make any drastic decisions on what I’m going to do next today. I am hurt today,’ she said.

Back to their conversation, Robyn suggests dividing the property up will help them get a better picture for their new home.

‘I think just getting the different lots figured out will help us to start visualizing better,’ Robyn said.

‘That’s what I need,’ Meri chimes in. ‘I can’t visualize anything because I have no idea where any property lines or the best place to build, whatever it is, we decide to build. The only thing I can visualize here is a pond.’

‘Alright, let’s break this up,’ Kody says, ending their meeting.
