Tessa Thompson rocked a chic and stylish look with the help of a unique Christian Siriano gown at the 6th Annual InStyle Awards.
The 38-year-old actress hit the red carpet in style at the annual awards show, held at the Getty Center in Los Angeles on Monday night.
The Passing star also got a shout-out from Siriano himself on his Instagram page during the event.

Thompson was the picture of unique elegance in the strapless black Siriano gown, which bows out at the waist.
Her lengthy braids were pulled up in an elegant fashion with several strands falling down over her face and a few more down her back.
She accessorized with a number of silver rings, completing her look with silver pumps seen peeking out rom her gown.

Gown designer Christian Siriano raved over the look on his Instagram, sharing a red carpet photo with a sweet caption.
‘Oh @tessamaethompson you are so divine In Siriano tonight I just love you,’ Siriano said, while also thanking celebrity stylists Wayman Deon and Micah McDonald.
Thompson was also seen posing with director Ava DuVernay and actress Niecy Nash at the bash.

Thompson’s outing comes just days after her new film Passing, which debuted on Netflix last week after a limited theatrical debut.
The actress stars alongside Ruth Negga as a pair of old high school friends who surprisingly reunite, which threatens their carefully constructed lives.
The film, which marks actress Rebecca Hall’s directing debut, is based on the 1929 novel by Nella Larsen, with the title referring to Black people whose skin tone was light enough for them to be ‘passing’ as white.

She also recently wrapped filming on the highly-anticipated Marvel sequel Thor: Love & Thunder, where she reprises her Thor: Ragnarok role as Valkyrie.
Thompson also stars in The Listener for director Steve Buscemi, playing a helpline volunteer who takes all sorts of calls from lonely and troubled people.
The actress will also reprise her role as Bianca in the upcoming Creed III, alongside Michael B. Jordan.
