A Very Boy Band Holiday special stars *NSYNC, New Edition, NKOTB, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees and O-Town

While the boys are now all men, ABC announced the gathering of members from some of the most iconic boy bands in history.

All the heartthrob crooners of yesteryear are coming together for the new special, A Very Boy Band Holiday, which will see the likes of *NSYNC, New Edition, New Kids On The Block, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees and O-Town sharing the same stage, according to People.

With the most wonderful time of the year serving as the backdrop, all the guys will be showing off their recognizable vocals and charisma, which melted the hearts of teens and preteens alike, during performances and appearances; only now they’ll be doing it in their 40’s and 50’s.

Boy band icons: Members of *NSYNC, New Edition, NKOTB, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees and O-Town will be featured in ABC’s A Very Boy Band Holiday special on Dec. 6; *NSYNC’s hey day was from 1995 to 2002, which resulted in a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in April 2018

The ABC special will feature Joey Fatone (*NSYNC), Chris Kirkpatrick (*NSYNC), Lance Bass (*NSYNC), Wanya Morris (Boyz II Men), Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men), Bobby Brown (New Edition), Michael Bivins (New Edition), Joey McIntyre (NKOTB), Erik-Michael Estrada (O-Town), Nick Lachey (98 Degrees), Drew Lachey (98 Degrees), Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees) and Justin Jeffre (98 Degrees).

Some of the guys have already come together to shoot a promo video that was shared on ABC’s social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

In the clip, the singers stare directly into the camera, one by one, and compliment each other, while announcing they are ‘passing the camera’ or ‘passing the phone’ to the next boy band star, who then in turn repeats the process.

The show, which is set to air December 6, will see all the guys ‘gather for a nostalgic night of merry hits,’ according to a release from ABC, as reported by People magazine.

Those hits include both holiday classics like Let It Snow, This Christmas, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and more, as well as their groups’ greatest songs that sent them to the top of the charts during their heyday.

While there will be plenty of recognizable tunes, the evening will also include the debut of a new holiday song by *NSYNC’s Fatone and Boyz II Men’s Morris.
