Strictly’s Rose Ayling-Ellis departs rehearsals alongside boyfriend Samuel Arnold

Rose Ayling-Ellis’ rarely-seen boyfriend showed his support as he met her after rehearsals with Strictly dance partner Giovanni Pernice in London to celebrate her 27th birthday.  

Samuel, who has been with the EastEnders actress for around seven years, cut a low key figure as he was pictured leaving the studios with Rose. 

The couple, who are both deaf, went for dinner with professional dancer Giovanni, 31, to celebrate Rose’s 27th birthday. 

Rose, who plays Frankie Lewis on EastEnders, donned a black top and a pair of burgundy jeans while she wrapped up for the evening in a black coat. 

Styling her locks into an updo, the soap star also sported a pair of black boots and carried a camo handbag. 

Stephen also opted for a laid back look in a light blue T-shirt which he wore with navy jeans and a black jacket. 

Giovanni and Samuel appear to have also formed a close friendship, with the trio beaming for a snap at a West London restaurant. 

Rose and Samuel keep their relationship private but made a rare public display of affecting on their sixth anniversary last year. 

Samuel wrote: ‘I still find you the most funniest, beautiful and super cool girlfriend I ever asked for,’ while Rose added: ‘Six years we’ve been together and I still don’t find you annoying.’  

In 2019, the pair went on holiday to Peru where Rose shared a snap of the relaxing in the Huacachina desert together. 

She wrote: ‘I stayed in the jungle next to the Amazon River in a lovely local family home for 4 days, even swam in the river! It always had been my dream to visit the Amazon.

‘We had three guides, Kid, Frank and Bala that stayed with us that show us around the amazon in the way they know it. 

‘They live and grew up there and came from tribal family. Bala is a chief of his village. The knowledge they have is priceless that been passed down in generation.   

‘I have learn sooo much and saw soo much animal. Nature is so beautiful and powerful. We need to try our best to protect this planet’. 

Meanwhile, newly-single Giovanni is said to be a changed man since meeting Rose. 

A source told Heat magazine: ‘She’s one of the first women he’s met who’s not taken in by his charms, and she isn’t afraid to take the p***.’

In her Instagram post, Rose wrote: ‘Thank you for all your lovely birthday messages.

‘I really appreciate them all.

‘I’ve had such a wonderful day dancing and then an evening doing what I do best. Eating.’ 

It comes after Rose was recently tipped to become one of the BBC’s highest-profile faces after becoming a fan favourite on Strictly.

According to the Mail On Sunday, Corporation chiefs are understood to be in discussions for her to front documentaries and other entertainment programmes, rather like Stacey Dooley, who won Strictly three years ago.

A source told the newspaper: ‘Rose is a star and is exactly what the BBC need. The nation has fallen in love with her.

‘Everything about her is so charming and lovely. She has won a fan base of millions of people in the matter of a few weeks.

‘She resonates with the young and the old, which is exactly what the BBC needs right now – and there are a number of projects being discussed for her after the show.’
