Taylor Swift’s longtime friend Abigail Anderson is engaged to be married.
The news was announced via Instagram on Friday alongside a set of engagement photos by photographer Jenn Petty.
Taylor, 31, and Abigail have been friends since they were 15-years-old.

Taking to social media to share with her 368,000 followers, Anderson said, ‘Thankful for my man, my life, and this happiness.’
She added a red heart emoji and said, ‘Happy Thanksgiving, ya’ll.’
The loved up photoshoot took place on a beach. In one outtake the couple shed their shoes and got their feet wet in the sand.
Another image showcased Anderson on a beachside cliff overlooking the water as her partner dropped down on one knee and popped the question.

Abigail’s hair was in natural curls in the series of photos. The wind blew through her tresses as she embraced her beau.
Taylor’s friend – who she met in Nashville as a teenager – had a French manicure on her oval-shaped nails, and her new sparkling engagement ring complemented the classic look.
She wore a white blouse, black leggings, and a tan jacket for the joyous occasion.
Her fiancé sported jeans, a dark grey jacket, and a light grey sweater.

Earlier this year the Kansas University graduate confirmed her divorce from her husband of over three years, Matt Lucier.
The two married in September 2017, and Taylor was a bridesmaid at the Martha’s Vineyard ceremony.
‘I want to acknowledge a very personal change — that my marriage ended a few months ago,’ Anderson wrote in an Instagram Story in June.
‘I chose this, and as difficult as this time has been, I’m at peace. Matt is a wonderful man with nothing but light and love to offer. I’m forever grateful for the time spent and the memories made,’ she continued.

The girls have been loud and proud about their bond, sharing sentimental social media posts throughout the years.
Anderson has also appeared in the songstress’ musical projects. In her song Fifteen Swift sang, ‘You sit in class next to a red-head named Abigail / And soon enough you’re best friends / Laughing at the other girls / Who think they’re so cool.’
