Adele discussed her drinking habits as she underwent a makeup transformation with Nikkie de Jager – who is better known as Nikkie Tutorials.
The singer, 33, who is now teetotal, said she used to drink to make other people interesting at parties as she chatted about her new album in a video with the Dutch make up artist, 27.
‘I would normally drink to make other people interesting, rather than to spice myself up!’ she said while going through the transformation.

Nikkie, who had asked her about her song I Drink Wine, poured her a glass and the pair sipped it throughout the video.
She went on: ‘people at parties are bloody boring!’
She went onto share that she misses being able to go to the supermarket out of fear she would be recognised.
Adele said: ‘Because I don’t like being photographed and things like that, the planning that goes into it is f***ing exhausting.’

Then Adele was asked what kept her grounded to which she joked: ‘Oh my son, don’t you worry! And my two f***ing new puppies.’
Adele also shared that she never used to have access to her social media before the pandemic, but she was given them when she wanted to send memes to her friends.
However, she had the privilege taken away from her after posting just one picture.
Elsewhere, Adele revealed that she would ‘freak out’ over meeting The Rock, a.k.a. Dwayne Johnson because she used to watch wrestling when she was younger.
Yet she insisted it wasn’t about ‘fancying’ the star, as she only saw him in a platonic way.
She said: ‘I would freak out over The Rock […] he sent me flowers the other day because him and his wife couldn’t make my show. Literally, I nearly fell off my chair!’
‘I wish he was my dad. Oh yeah, it’s not like I – I haven’t got a crush on him or anything, he’s amazing.’

Admitting that she was not good at make up, she shared that she was inspired by ‘goth girls’ at school with the look.
Adele also shared that, unlike on her album 25, she did not play guitar or drums on her new record 30, as she didn’t want to take her nails off to play.

All throughout the video Nikkie was doing the Someone Like You’s make up on half of her face.
