Dolly Parton was presented with three new certificates from Guinness World Records on Thursday in Nashville, Tennessee.

The 75-year-old singing legend recently set two new records: most decades on the US Hot Country Songs chart by a female with seven and most Number One hits on the US Hot Country Songs chart by a female with 25.

Dolly also beat her existing record for most hits on the US Hot Country Songs chart by a female artist with 109 hits.

She previously set the record in 2018 for most decades with a Top 20 hit on the US Hot Country Songs chart at six.

‘This is the kind of stuff that really makes you very humble and very grateful for everything that’s happened. I had no idea that I would be in Guinness World Records this many times!,’ Dolly said in an interview with Guinness World Records.

‘I am flattered and honored. I’ve had a lot of people help me get here. Thanks to all of you and all of them for helping me have all of this,’ she added.

‘Dolly Parton is one of very few musical artists in history with this degree of staying power. Writing and recording music that makes the charts across seven decades is truly an amazing accomplishment,’ Sarah said.

The Tennessee native recently recorded duets with Michael Bublé and Reba McEntire that maintained her presence on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Dolly has a new album expected to be released in March that will accompany her collaboration with author James Patterson on the upcoming novel Run, Rose, Run.
