England are all but beaten on the final day of the second Ashes Test at Adelaide with Joe Root’s side set to go two down in the series.

Ollie Pope fell to Mitchell Starc early on day five in another body blow for England and Stokes fell to Nathan Lyon after a good decision to review by captain Steve Smith. 

And strong resistance from Chris Woakes and Jos Buttler was finally broken when Jhye Richardson bowled Woakes for 44.
