Heidi Klum has admitted that many models are beautiful but can sometimes be ‘boring farts’.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel, 48, has been hosting Germany’s Next Topmodel since 2006 and said she often knows which girls suit her ‘taste’ from the beginning.
Speaking during a press conference as reported by ProSieben, Heidi told how sometimes the most attractive contestants can end up resting on their laurels.

She said: ‘From the first day I know what suits my taste. But then of course I see how the others are doing. There are many who are beautiful but sometimes boring. Many rest on their laurels when they do are born so “classically beautiful”.
‘I often find other people more interesting, in terms of the person, how they move… They have more bite. They may have always had to fight harder.’
Heidi added that the first day of filming the show is often the most exciting.
She said: ‘That’s what I love most. It’s always something different, when you see a person live or in a photo or video. In this respect, the first day is always the most exciting for me.’

The German beauty’s candid admission comes after she recently shared photos of herself at 18 when she was just starting her modelling career.
Beating out 25,000 contestants in a German beauty contest, Heidi went on to become one of the most successful models in the world.
Still, just a year before her big break in 1990, the America’s Got Talent judge revealed she was just a teen ‘dreaming about being a model’ via Instagram.
After unearthing a few photos of herself at 17, the mother-of-four quickly shared the throwbacks with her more than 8.9 million followers on Friday.

‘I went a little heavy on the lipliner,’ she joked in the caption of her classic ’90s makeup, which also included a lot of eyeliner and blush.
At 21, she appeared on the cover of Mirabella magazine and within the next few years was featured in Vogue, ELLE, and Marie Claire.
After appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s 1998 Swimsuit Issue, she became one of the founding Victoria’s Secret Angels the next year.
