According to a report from TMZ Sunday, fans have speculated that both A-listers might be phased out of the DCEU, based on social media comments from insiders who saw an early cut of the forthcoming film The Flash, which stars Ezra Miller in the titular role.
Film critic Grace Randolph, who presides over the Beyond The Trailer YouTube channel, commented on the rumored creative changes in the film in a series of tweets Saturday, saying that the film marks ‘Batfleck’s final appearance’ and utilizes ‘old footage of Cavill used on TV.’

She added, ‘This is new DC, let’s be open minded & give it a fair shot.’
The site also quoted the Twitter account MyTimeToShineHello, which presented information that dovetailed with Randolph’s, noting that ‘Affleck and Cavill are both gone.
