Abbie Chatfield ignites a huge debate as she enjoys an iconic Bunnings sausage sizzle with boyfriend Konrad Bien-Stephens: ‘What is this madness?’

Abbie Chatfield has stirred up a major debate among her followers after sharing a recent photo of herself and boyfriend Konrad Bien-Stephens enjoying an iconic Bunnings sausage sizzle in Ballina, NSW.

The reality TV beauty, 26, was pictured devouring her sausage with toppings including barbecue sauce and onions.

But it wasn’t the condiments that sent fans into a frenzy, rather the bread that wrapped up the tasty snack.

Several of her Western Australia fans were astonished by the concept of bread wrapping the sausage, when they were used to a bun.

‘Um what is this white bread madness? Our Bunnings snags come in a bun and I won’t be having anything else please and thank you,’ one WA fan wrote.

Abbie rapidly responded: ‘Woah where do you live???? Snags ONLY in white bread!!!!’

‘That puts the bread to sausage ratio way out of whack! Now I know in my heart what the Wild West means,’ one fan added in favour of Abbie, while another wrote: ‘White bread is quintessential Australiana.’

‘We have bread in SA and NT too so it must just be WA!’ one fan wrote.

‘Bread is compulsory in eastern states but buns are compulsory in WA, just to settle the debate x,’ one follower diplomatically wrote.

‘100% only in white slice, I have never seen a bun @ Bunnings in my life,’ another shocked fan wrote.

But another WA fan stirred the debate even further, commenting: ‘I’m in WA and I’ve only seen white bread, and tbh a bun skews the bread-to-snag ratio.’

‘Most of the inner west Sydney Bunnings have them in a long roll and not white slice bread – fancy Bunnings maybe,’ one follower chimed in.

‘No sauce dripping out or onions falling on the floor with a bun! It’s the only way!’ one follower argued.
