Tottenham will listen to offers for Tanguy Ndombele who was substituted in their FA Cup tie with Morecambe on Sunday and left to a chorus of boos.

The midfielder’s future at the club appears up in the air after he was booed by his own fans.

The 25-year-old was handed a starting spot against League One strugglers Morecambe but failed to impress and was part of a triple change made by Spurs boss Antonio Conte as his side trailed 1-0 on the hour mark.

The Frenchman showed no urgency to exit the pitch and incurred the wrath of the home crowd.

He walked off the far side of the pitch slowly before heading straight down the tunnel to the chorus of boos.

Ndombele joined Spurs in a £55million deal from Lyon in the summer of 2019 but has failed to have an impact and has not locked down a regular starting place.

Tottenham also expect offers for winger Steven Bergwijn, who is a target for Ajax, as they prepare an £18m bid for Wolves’ Adama Traore.

Defenders Japhet Tanganga and Joe Rodon continue to be the subject of loan interest.
