Heather Rae Young gives update on less than ‘ideal’ fertility journey: ‘Trying to stay positive’

Heather Rae Young took to Instagram on Monday to update her followers on her fertility journey.

The 34-year-old Selling Sunset personality is in the process of freezing her eggs and called the latest update ‘not ideal news.’

In a video shared to Stories she said she’s ‘trying to stay positive.’

The blonde beauty has been sharing her path to starting a family with her new husband Tarek El Moussa, 40.

The couple wed in October at the Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort, and then traveled to the Maldives and Dubai for a lavish honeymoon.

Heather wore a grey track jacket with a subtle camouflage print as she opened up to her 2.3 million followers. 

In the video the real estate mogul said she had a total of five eggs. ‘But one of them it does not look like it’s going to be mature enough to extract to freeze.’ she added.

Mrs. El Moussa continued, ‘I have two that are strong, one that’s still growing, and another one that’s still growing so I have four that are looking decent.’ 

In the background her dog could be heard barking as she spoke into the camera with her hair parted and pulled into a ponytail.

The Netflix star said the low count of eggs is ‘not the best number’ and noted that she planned to ask her doctor if they’re worth extracting to create embryos.

Heather wants to avoid ‘doing another round’ and said she was hoping for some good news when she speaks with her medical professional.

Despite the less than ideal news, Heather kept in good spirits as she continued on with her day.

The entrepreneur shared another video with her fans on Monday as she modeled a cropped Dolce and Gabbana sweater and leather pants.

The recording showed her walking down a flight of steps with a beverage in hand as she said, ‘Off to meetings!’

She simultaneously carried a small black dog in one arm and a black handbag over the other.  

Then Young snapped a car selfie as she talked about her everyday lunch routine. 

The reality TV favorite looked glamorous in an oversize pair of round sunglasses a she sipped a large smoothie.

She wrote across the image, ‘On the go lunch today Heather’s Way smoothie from @earthbar. I drink my smoothie every day for lunch & I’m still obsessed with the yumminess.’
