Tottenham outcast Dele Alli is ‘left OUT of Antonio Conte’s squad to face Chelsea’ amid speculation he could leave the club this month… and Spurs ‘are open to a loan switch’ after failing to impress his new boss

  • Dele Alli left out of Tottenham Hotspur squad to face Chelsea this afternoon
  • The 25-year-old does not seem to be part of Antonio Conte’s plans at Spurs
  • Out of favour Alli has featured just 10 times for Tottenham this season

Dele Alli has been left out of the Tottenham Hotspur squad for their trip to Chelsea this afternoon as speculation grows that the midfielder could leave the club before the end of the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old, who has featured just 10 times for Spurs this season, does not seem to be part of Antonio Conte’s plans going forward – despite being in contract until 2024.

Spurs are reportedly open to letting the former England International go out on loan, after being an unused substitute in their last two fixtures, before not being involved for the clash with the Blues, according to The Athletic.

Tottenham do not play again until February, 5 after this afternoon’s match against London rivals Chelsea, therefore there is no more chances for Alli to impress and work his way back up the pecking order.

Spurs are also willing to listen to offers on Tanguy Ndombele and Matt Doherty as Conte looks to shake things up at the north London outfit.

They are yet to make a signing, but are edging close to signing Wolves winger Adama Traore.
