Stars across the Premier League have made the most an uncharacteristic break in the season to jet off on holiday for some rest and recuperation after a gruelling two months of fixtures.

The next run of full Premier League games begins on February 8, meaning players have some time to themselves.

And Manchester City duo Kevin de Bruyne and Jack Grealish have gone off on their travels to take advantage of the time away from the pitch.

Belgium star De Bruyne shared a picture on the beach with his wife and child in an unknown location, but captioned a video on his Instagram story as ‘paradise’.

Grealish, meanwhile, was reunited with his former Aston Villa team-mate John McGinn – it is believed the duo are in Dubai.

‘Back with my brother’ Grealish wrote alongside the photo.

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger shared a snap of himself on a plane to Sierra Leone to launch his charity.

‘Off to Sierra Leone for some days to recharge batteries for the crucial part of the season,’ he wrote.

‘Looking forward to finally launch The Antonio Rudiger Foundation For Sierra Leone there.’

Rudiger was in action on Sunday afternoon as Chelsea recorded a 3-0 victory over London rivals Tottenham.

City duo Grealish and De Bruyne head off with their side top of the league but were held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton on Satuday.

They have a nine-point lead over Liverpool in second, who have a game in hand.
