Holly Willoughby looks a vision as she slips into a figure-accentuating purple dress

Holly Willoughby’s famed hourglass figure was accentuated by a show-stopping SOL by Irena Soprano purple dress which she donned for Dancing On Ice over the weekend.

In snaps shared via social media, the 40-year-old presenter looked a vision in the skintight number, which was splashed with added touches of sparkle.

Wearing her blonde bob with the subtlest hint of wave, Holly looked sensational as she paraded the ensemble backstage.

As well as its curve-clinging style, the dress also boasted a roll-neck and long sleeves.

The glamorous snaps come after the blonde beauty once again denied rumours of a rift with her longtime presenting partner Phillip Schofield.

The This Morning host admitted that despite rumours of tension between the pair in 2019, she could only endure the demands of hosting the daytime programme with someone she views as ‘a friend.’

Speaking to Grazia, Holly said: ‘It is two and a half hours of live telly. If you were to do that amount of live telly with someone who drove you nuts, wound you up, annoyed you in any way, well, I think you can only do that with a friend, day in, day out.’

In 2019 it was reported that Holly and Phillip were embroiled in a row over their salary for hosting This Morning, but the pair have repeatedly denied the claims.

Phillip himself said in 2020 he was baffled by the rumours, telling The Mail On Sunday: ‘Can you imagine a feud between us ever happening? We are so open on the show, we are so open online and we go on holiday together.’

‘Holly is the sister I never had, we think at the same speed. It’s so organic… it’s a shame.’

Last year Holly described it was a ‘particularly difficult time’ when speculation was rife about her friendship with Phillip.

Elsewhere in the interview, Holly gave rare insight into her family life as she gushed over her ‘amazing’ daughter, Belle.

She revealed that she was in awe of her 10-year-old’s ability to empathise with others – a trait that appears to have been passed on by her.

She explained: ‘Empathy is a lovely thing. My daughter has it. She’s amazing, you can stick her in any situation.’

Empathy is a trait that Holly also prides herself on, but admitted that she used to try and hide her emotions after being criticised for her outbursts in the early days of presenting This Morning.

She revealed: ‘I had to control it in a way – I could empathise so much that the emotion would be rising up inside me and I would just start crying.

‘It took me a really long time to feel comfortable and go, why? Why do we not do that? Why are you not allowed to feel emotion.’

Holly shares her daughter along with sons Chester, seven, and Harry James, 12, with husband Dan Baldwin, with the couple opting to keep their children out of the spotlight.

Elsewhere in her chat with Grazia, Holly admitted she ‘isn’t afraid’ of the reaction she might get to her new wellness brand, Wylde Moon, which she launched in October last year.

She explained: ‘I’m not afraid of the reaction to it any more. If it doesn’t fit with what your thoughts and expectations of me are, well then there’s nothing I can do about it.

‘I can’t change that. I don’t want to change that. And I’m not going to change that. This is me.’

Defiant Holly insisted that she has no intention of fitting into the idea that people have of her, but equally she doesn’t want to ‘force’ any of her wellness techniques on anyone.

She said: ‘The moment that I launched Wylde Moon, the word ‘wacky’ got used a lot. I expected that. And that’s fine. I can’t change that.

‘I’m not here to force any of this on anybody. It’s not ‘come and meditate with me’ or ‘look at the moon and play a sound-bowl’. It’s please go and do that thing that makes your heart sing. Go and do you.’

As well as working on her wellness brand, Holly has also been tasked with a new project, working on a series alongside Lee Mack.

The presenter has been temporarily replaced by Rochelle Humes on This Morning while she takes two weeks off to film Wim ‘Iceman’ Hof’s Superstar Survival with Lee Mack.

Although Holly won’t be back on the This Morning sofa until February, she will fly in from Southern Europe – where Superstar Survival is filmed – every weekend to present Dancing On Ice alongside Phillip Schofield.
