The closely-fought contest was marred when an unruly fan was ejected from the stands of Melbourne Park’s Rod Laver Arena for disrupting play in the back-and-forth battle.

A pumped up spectator screamed ‘f*** off’ at the end of the second set whilst a player was serving.

Nick looked up into the stands and yelled for security guards to ‘kick him out’.

Broadcast cameras showed the moment the embarrassed fan was approached by security personnel and given the boot.
