Antonio Conte has been accused of ruining Ryan Sessegnon’s confidence after the youngster was substituted after just 28 minutes against Wolves.
There had been suggestions that Sessegnon could establish himself as a key player for Tottenham under Conte at left wing-back.
However, the 21-year-old struggled against Wolves and was replaced by Dejan Kulusevski with Tottenham trailing 2-0.

One Twitter user suggested that it’s unlikely that Sessegnon will play for Tottenham again.
They wrote: ‘I think you’ve just witnessed the end of Ryan Sessegnon’s time at Spurs.’
There was also a suggestion that Conte will ruin Sessegnon’s confidence by taking him off so early.
They wrote: ‘Conte making a public substitution of Sessegnon. This will completely ruin the player’s confidence. Toxic’.
One fan claimed that Sessegnon hadn’t done anything wrong.
They wrote: ‘You gotta feel for Sessegnon man, he did nothing wrong’.
Another individual suggested that other players were better candidates to go off rather than Sessegnon.
They wrote: ‘Sessegnon ? out of all the other players? What is Conte doing bruv. ‘
There was also a suggestion that Sessegnon shouldn’t have started the game in the first place.
One user wrote: ‘Sessegnon shouldn’t have started. He was leaking like a colander.’
One fan claimed that Sessegnon wasn’t the problem for Tottenham.
They wrote: ‘SOOOO harsh on Sessegnon that. I know we have to change it up but he wasn’t exactly the problem.’
