Strictly champion Rose Ayling-Ellis oozes sartorial chic in a cropped black suit as she wins Inspirational Person Of The Year at The Visionary Honours Awards


Rose Ayling-Ellis exuded sartorial chic as she joined a slew of stars in attendance at The Visionary Honours Awards in London on Tuesday.

The EastEnders star accepted the Inspirational Person Of The Year Award at the awards, which were held at BAFTA Piccadilly, in support of charity YoungMinds.

Rose opted for a cropped black suit, showing off her toned torso and cleavage with a low-cut design.

Rose added platformed square toe heels to the look, keeping her accessories minimal with a cream beaded crochet-style bag.

Her brunette-copper locks were tied away in a simple up-do, with some soft curls left down to frame her face.

The beauty opted for a bold dark eye look, leaving the rest of her makeup soft and dewy.

She was presented the award by entrepreneur and The Apprentice star Tim Campbell. 

The awards featured a performance by singer Ella Henderson, with Russell T Davies’ It’s a Sin picking up the award for Television Show of the Year.

Hosted by Lenny Henry, the awards celebrate activists, creators and community leaders who, over the past 18 months, have inspired social change through the arts and their platforms.

Rose posted a story to Instagram which showed her beaming with her trophy – showing her gratitude to The Visionary Honours Awards for the recognition, she wrote: ‘Thank you so much @visionaryartsuk.’  

The actress, who plays Frankie in EastEnders, recently made history as the first deaf winner of Strictly Come Dancing.

She recently thanked dance partner Giovanni Pernice and spoke on Strictly in an Instagram post, writing: ‘It was the best decision I have ever made, what a crazy ride and life changing experience it has been.’
