Kris Jenner has revealed an extraordinary and highly valuable crockery collection stored within its very own dish room at her sprawling Los Angeles mega-mansion.

While most people make do with cramped and dusty cupboard space, the TV personality has devoted a gleaming bedroom-sized area for her broad range of designer dinnerware and customized Kardashian plates.

The enormous collection, immaculately stored on polished white floor-to-ceiling shelves, features 10 dinner sets in total, with highlights including a $600 Hermès cup and saucer set and a costly $650 teapot from Italian fashion house Gucci’s Herbarium range.

Elsewhere highly collectable cups and plates feature personalised paintings of Kris and various other family members, among them Kim, Khloé, Kourtney and Rob – her four children with first husband Robert Kardashian.

The TV personality’s collection also extends to lavish Andalucía inspired Balcon du Guadalquivir dinnerware from Hermès, where a single small butter plate will cost you $120.

But if that spreads the cash a little too thinly, regular sized plates take an even bigger slice of the financial pie by individually retailing at $430 each, while an accompanying vase comes in at a staggering $2,000.

Jenner also owns a stunning orange, gold and white 8-piece tableware collection from Hermès, available for a comparatively modest $550.

The dish room serves up another expensive Hermès collection from the Carnets d’Equateur line, including the exquisite H Deco set, while her prized Africa Green collection features wild animals painted on lime-colored plates – each worth an eye-watering $460.

Also present are various items from the brand’s Carnets d’Equateur range, including leopard painted plates retailing at $155 per piece.

Originally designed to be a walk-in closet, the room has been transformed to house the enormous crockery collection at her $20million Hidden Hills mansion.

A feature on the Kardashian lifestyle blog Poosh describes the space as a ‘mini museum’ while marveling at its minimal décor and tasteful lighting.

It reads: ‘The walk-in closet (if you will) includes a range of timeless and rare table sets (we’re talking several sets of printed plates, teacups, and matching saucers, custom coffee mugs, serving platters, the whole nine yards) that Kris has collected over the years.

‘It’s like a mini museum with excellent lighting surrounding each set and not a teacup or plate out of place. Truly a work of art.’

Jenner, whose personal fortune is estimated at $190million, recently admitted that she had no idea how to budget until she was forced into independence following her divorce from Robert Kardashian in 1991.

She told WSJ magazine: The good news is, I pay attention… I’m a quick study and I knew I had to get it together. I felt such an enormous sense of accomplishment to be able to figure it all out and pay my own bills and make my own money and do my own taxes.

‘And there were times when I didn’t have a lot of money, but I was very organized.’
