Jenelle Evans revealed she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia after years of suffering from ‘extremely bad tension headaches and full body aches.’
While speaking about her symptoms from the chronic, long-term illness, the Teen Mom 2 alum, 30, said she experienced pain for as long as she ‘can remember.’
‘Like I had the flu, but was not sick,’ Jenelle explained to E! News, before noting she also endures sinus problems as well as neck and back pain.

The mom-of-three continued: ‘My entire body gets in so much pain and sometimes I lay in bed and cry. [For] a long time, no one believed my symptoms until I got a second opinion from a new neurologist recently.’
Navigating fibromyalgia, she said makes ‘every day’ challenging since she only has ‘a little bit of energy to be able to get my work done then [having] to go to bed early due to headaches or body aches.’
‘I want my kids to know that some days are good and some days are bad with fibromyalgia,’ said Eason. ‘Please have patience with me on my bad days and I promise to make it up to you on my good days.’

Evans has a five-year-old daughter Ensley, with husband David Eason, and Nathan Jace, 12 and Kaiser, 7, from exes Kaiser Griffith and Andrew Lewis.
The MTV star also has ‘private talks with my kids about my health’ to ‘let them know they don’t have to worry, some days won’t be good but I’ll get through it.’
Over the past year, she’s been documenting her health struggles with her fans on YouTube due to neck issues.

Since receiving her diagnosis, Evans says she’s found some relief in knowing why her ‘body is acting the way it does.’
‘I never knew what fibromyalgia was until my doctor diagnosed me,’ she stated. ‘I am now researching foods to stay away from and foods that are beneficial for my condition.’
Later in the interview, she gushed her spouse has been ‘super supportive’ by stepping up to help with cooking and cleaning as well as taking her to doctor’s appointments.
